What does a private duty nurse do?

A private duty nurse may assess changes, manage chronic conditions, administer medications, perform ordered procedures, document care, and communicate with physicians.

Is skilled nursing the same as having a home health aide?

No. A nurse provides licensed clinical services. An HHA or CNA generally supports personal care and daily living tasks according to training and the care plan.
